comfort card co. is a branding concept based around the idea of a company completely dedicated to encouragement, and the act of giving. The heart behind it is to recognize the needs of others, and of ourselves, and to provide words which soothe, lift-up, and address specific places of need in the recipient. They are to keep - or to give. They are others, or for ourselves.
TO KEEP: Sometimes we just need a little reminder. comfort card co. encourages the reader to remember that it is ok if, today, they're the one who needs the reminder. It's alright if they forgot something important today - but instead of staying in that place, they have the opportunity to fill their mind with truth.
TO GIVE: Sometimes we need a little push. comfort card co. is like a set of training wheels, teaching the giver to rejoice in the giving, and training their brain to consider others when they shop, when they travel, when they interact - with strangers, with family, with friends, with a spouse, or any other relationship.
Art that speaks.
Each set of cards is meant to have a unique aesthetic, so that anyone can find a set which feels like their own. Not only are these cards personal in their appearance, but also in their content. Each set holds different meanings behind them, with some containing more specific encouragements than others. Included below is one set full of more general encouragements, but along with it stands sets which have to do with depression, OCD, and suicidal ideation, helping the reader to combat these struggles, providing comfort in the midst of them, and reminding them that they are not alone, but are seen, heard, wanted, and cared for.
