Highlands College Booth and Snapshot
Grace had the opportunity to design a column vinyl for Highlands College’s interest booth, as well as social media content and screen graphics for their “Snapshot” event, at Motion Conference, in Birmingham Alabama.
Putting to use what was, at the time, HC’s signature red, as well as a diverse selection of masked-out student photos, this column vinyl served the purpose of greeting those who expressed interest in the hands-on ministry training this school has to offer. Crowning the center of this main piece is HC’s seal - an image recognizable to present and past student of Highlands College, and inviting many others to participate in that same culture of development, and ultimately, of family.
Social media is a valuable part of putting on something as huge as Motion Conference, and on the Highlands College side of things, it’s no different!
Grace created a couple of beautiful story graphics, advertising an opportunity to learn more about the school. These graphics contained paper textures, tape, and even scribbles, reminding the viewer that they were looking at something related to the conference itself, which made ample use of this same crafty aesthetic.
It would have been much more difficult and time-consuming for the team to have created a new piece of graphic or photo content every time they desired to share the latest over stories. In turn, this delay would have hindered their ability to make the most of Instagram’s options for updating viewers in real-time! That’s where these branded PNGs come in.
Made to match the same aesthetic as the other pieces, and utilizing, in this case, a particular tagline of Highlands College itself, PNG frames like this could be placed over any content filmed over a marketing team member’s phone, leaving content looking branded, but also enabling the one capturing it to post on the spot, in real-time.
